Special Projects

The harsh environments associated with mines and quarries, combined with the need to maintain high load and reliability factors in all weathers, pose a particular challenge to quarry plant and equipment engineers.

At Edwards Engineering we can provide a comprehensive package for the design, fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair of the complete range of specialist quarry plant and equipment, including conveyors, hoppers, feeders, screens, housings and heavy duty ducting, backed by an enviable reputation for keeping well ahead of the challenge.

Our range of turnkey solutions includes all necessary surveys and programming, and we are noted for the successful completion of intensive installation and maintenance programmes within short scheduled shut down periods.

We are also adept at carrying out major works during normal working periods when this is necessary, co ordinating our activities to minimise disruption to production schedules as far as possible.

Our site operations are fully supported by our own drawing office, workshops, cranage and experienced installation teams and include the design and installation of all necessary services, electrics and control systems to the highest statutory safety standards.
